Qantara · قنطرة · UAE e-invoicing
UAE e-invoicing from your ERP, validated, sent and reconciled.
Qantara (قنطرة, “the bridge”) sits between SAP or any other ERP and the accredited service provider (ASP) you appoint. It maps every invoice to PINT-AE, validates it before it leaves, tracks each submission and the tax data reported to the FTA, and brings supplier invoices into accounts payable with a three-way match. Qantara is not an ASP: it works with yours, and you can change ASP without touching your ERP.
- PINT-AE mapping and validation before submission
- Works with the ASP you appoint, for every entity
- On-premise or UAE cloud, with a full audit trail

Why it matters
E-invoicing has a fixed date. Most ERPs weren’t built for it.
Under Ministerial Decisions No. 243 and 244 of 2025, businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more go live on 1 January 2027, other businesses on 1 July 2027 and government entities on 1 October 2027. From then on, invoices travel as structured data through accredited service providers, and tax data is reported to the FTA.
Every entity, every ERP
Groups run several ERPs and many legal entities, each with its own TRN, Peppol ID and invoice data to map and test.
Rejections stop cash
An invoice that fails validation must be fixed and sent again. Found late, every error costs days of collections.
Two sides to reconcile
Finance needs to know that what the ERP issued matches what was delivered and reported, and to do the same for every supplier invoice coming in.
What Qantara does
One platform between your ERP and your ASP
Outbound invoices
Invoices and credit notes leave the ERP, are mapped to PINT-AE and sent to your ASP, with every message response and tax data status tracked to the end.
Validation before submission
PINT-AE schema checks, UAE tax rules and your own rules run before anything leaves. Test a new rule on past invoices, then publish it with a second approver.
Supplier invoices
Supplier e-invoices arrive through your ASP and are matched to the purchase order and goods receipt. Exceptions go to a queue with a suggested fix.
Buyer approvals
Invoices that need a decision go to the right buyer, with a second approver above the threshold you set. Responses reach the supplier through your ASP.
Supplier readiness
A supplier registry with Peppol IDs and onboarding waves, so you know which suppliers can send e-invoices before your go-live date.
Entities and identifiers
Every legal entity with its TRN, Peppol participant ID, ASP and ERP company code, in one place.
Connectors and mappings
A canonical PINT-AE data model with adapters for SAP and other ERPs, and field mappings tested with a conformance pack.
Retries and dead-letter queue
Failed messages retry on their own. Anything that still fails waits in a queue with the reason, and nothing is lost.
FTA reconciliation and audit pack
Reconcile the tax data reported to the FTA with what the ERP issued, and export an audit pack with a SHA-256 manifest.
How it works
From ERP posting to the FTA, every step tracked
- 01
Extract
Qantara picks up each invoice from the ERP through an adapter and maps it to the PINT-AE data model.
- 02
Validate
Schema, tax and custom rules run. Anything that fails goes back to its owner with the reason, before submission.
- 03
Submit
The invoice goes to your ASP, which delivers it to the buyer’s ASP over the Peppol network. Tax data is reported to the FTA.
- 04
Reconcile
Qantara records every response and tax data status, matches them to the ERP and flags any gap.
Comparison
Qantara vs connecting each ERP to an ASP directly
What changes when every entity and ERP goes through one integration layer.
| Feature | Qantara | Point-to-point ERP connections |
|---|---|---|
| Changing ASP | Switch the connector, the ERP stays untouched | Rebuild every ERP integration |
| Validation | Before submission, with tested rules | After a rejection |
| Several ERPs and entities | One data model and one dashboard | One project per ERP |
| Supplier invoices | Three-way match, exceptions queued | Manual checks over email |
| FTA reconciliation | Built in, with an audit pack | Spreadsheets at month end |
| Audit trail | Every message and decision logged | Spread across systems |

FAQ
UAE e-invoicing questions, answered
When does UAE e-invoicing start?
Under Ministerial Decisions No. 243 and 244 of 2025, businesses with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more go live on 1 January 2027 and other businesses on 1 July 2027. Government entities go live on 1 October 2027. Each business must appoint an accredited service provider (ASP) by the deadline set for its group. Check the Ministry of Finance and the FTA for the latest timeline.
Is Qantara an accredited service provider (ASP)?
No. Qantara connects your ERP to the ASP you appoint. The ASP exchanges invoices over the Peppol network and reports tax data to the FTA. Qantara prepares, validates, tracks and reconciles everything on your side, and lets you change ASP without changing your ERP.
What is PINT-AE?
PINT-AE is the UAE specification of the Peppol International (PINT) invoice. Invoices and credit notes are exchanged as structured XML, not as PDFs. Qantara maps your ERP data to PINT-AE and validates it against the schema and UAE tax rules before submission.
What is the five-corner model?
The supplier (corner 1) sends the invoice through its ASP (corner 2) to the buyer’s ASP (corner 3), which delivers it to the buyer (corner 4). Tax data goes to the FTA (corner 5). Both the supplier and the buyer need an ASP.
Which ERPs does Qantara work with?
SAP and other ERPs, through adapters to a canonical PINT-AE data model. Field mappings for each ERP are configured during implementation and tested with a conformance pack.
Does Qantara handle supplier invoices?
Yes. Supplier e-invoices arrive through your ASP and are matched to the purchase order and goods receipt. Exceptions go to a queue with a suggested fix for a person to confirm, buyers approve the invoices that need a decision, and responses go back to the supplier through your ASP.
Can Qantara run on-premise?
Yes. Install it in your data center or private cloud, or we host it for you in a UAE data center. Either way it uses your single sign-on and keeps a full audit trail.
How is Qantara licensed?
As an annual on-premise licence installed on your servers, private cloud or an isolated network, or as a monthly or annual cloud subscription that we host in a UAE data center or a cloud region in your country. Both include updates and support.
