Rifqa · رفقة · On-demand mobility
Shared rides on demand, run from one control centre.
Rifqa (رفقة, “travelling together”) is a ride-hailing and shared mobility platform for transport authorities and operators, running demand-responsive and point-to-point transport end to end. Passengers book shared or accessible rides in the app, drivers get their whole shift in theirs, and the control centre sees every vehicle, trip and incident. AI forecasts demand and suggests dispatch; operators approve, override with a reason, and every decision is audited.

AI suggests, operators decide
Assignments and repositioning are proposed by AI and approved by a person, within the limits you set.
Every override explained
When an operator overrides the AI, the reason and the outcome are logged.
Built for disruption
Event mode, degraded feeds and mass disruption have their own playbooks in the control centre.
Why it matters
Fixed routes don’t fit every journey
Buses run half empty off-peak while new districts, events and people with disabilities wait too long for a ride.
Empty buses, long waits
Timetabled routes miss where and when people actually travel.
Events overwhelm the network
Concerts, matches and festivals create surges that dispatchers manage by phone.
Accessibility as an afterthought
Riders who need a ramp or extra time are not prioritised by the system.
What Rifqa does
Every part of an on-demand service
Passenger app
Book on-demand or point-to-point rides, share them, choose accessible vehicles, track the ETA and get refunds in the app.
Driver app
The whole shift in the app: assignments, navigation, reroutes, messages and breaks.
Live operations
Every vehicle, request and incident on one map, with demand forecasts and service-level alerts.
AI-assisted dispatch
AI proposes assignments and repositioning; operators approve or override, and each override records the reason and the result.
Zones and event mode
Service zones, walking radius, pooling limits, fleet floors and event uplifts, versioned and approved.
Incidents and SLAs
Prioritised incidents with response targets, and a breach lifecycle through to passenger compensation.
Fares and ticketing
Fare rules, channels and VAT, with fare changes passing a regulator approval gate and an appeals process.
Messaging
Bulk messages to riders in Arabic and English, and direct messages to drivers, with delivery tracked.
Analytics and planning
Ridership, wait times, utilisation and coverage to plan zones, fleet and schedules.
How it works
From a booking to a closed trip
- 01
Book
A passenger requests a ride; Rifqa matches it to a vehicle with seats, accessibility and the smallest detour.
- 02
Dispatch
The control centre sees the AI’s choice and approves, adjusts or lets it run within agreed limits.
- 03
Ride
The driver app guides the trip and reroutes around incidents; the passenger tracks the ETA.
- 04
Learn
Every decision stores prediction and outcome, so forecasts and plans improve each week.
Who it’s for
Built for public and contracted transport
Transport authorities
Authorities that plan and regulate demand-responsive and point-to-point services.
Transport operators
Bus, minibus and shuttle operators that run on-demand services under contract.
Campuses and communities
Large campuses, developments and venues that run their own shuttles.
Licensing
License Rifqa on your servers or in the cloud
Rifqa is sold as a software licence, not a one-off project. You choose where it runs; the product, updates and support are the same.
On-premise licence
Runs on your servers
Install Rifqa in your data center, in your private cloud tenant or on an isolated network with no internet connection.
- Annual licence, priced by fleet size and service zones
- Your data never leaves your network
- Installation, training and updates included
- Support with agreed response times
Cloud subscription
Hosted for you
We run Rifqa for you in a UAE data center, or in a cloud region in your country, ready in days.
- Monthly or annual subscription, priced by fleet size and service zones
- Hosting, backups and monitoring included
- Updates applied for you
- Single sign-on and role-based access
The price depends on fleet size and service zones and the support level. We reply within one business day and send a written quote after a short scoping call.

Automation with accountability
Autonomy levels
Each AI agent runs at an approved level, from suggest-only upwards; raising it needs senior sign-off.
Two-person rules
Fare, zone and role changes, bulk compensation and disruption mode need a second approver.
Protected passenger data
Revealing a passenger’s details needs a linked case and approval, and every view is logged.
Resilient by design
If a data feed degrades, Rifqa fails over and drops AI to suggest-only, keeping a full audit trail.

FAQ
On-demand mobility questions, answered
What is Rifqa?
Rifqa is an on-demand and point-to-point mobility platform. It includes a passenger app, a driver app, a control centre with AI-assisted dispatch, fares and ticketing, and analytics for planning.
Does the AI dispatch on its own?
Only within the limits you set. Each AI agent runs at an approved autonomy level; outside it, operators approve or override, and every override records the reason and the predicted and actual effect.
Does it support riders with disabilities?
Yes. Riders can request accessible vehicles, and dispatch can give them priority when matching vehicles and seats.
How are fares managed?
Fare rules, channels and VAT are configured in Rifqa. Fare changes pass a regulator approval gate before they apply, and passengers can appeal a charge.
What happens during major disruption?
A disruption mode, declared by two people, re-plans the service and messages riders. If a data feed fails, Rifqa switches to back-up sources and keeps AI in suggest-only mode.
Can it connect to our systems?
Yes. Rifqa connects to vehicle telemetry, payment and card systems, single sign-on, HR rosters and maintenance systems.
How is Rifqa licensed?
As an annual on-premise licence installed on your servers, private cloud or an isolated network, or as a monthly or annual cloud subscription that we host in a UAE data center or a cloud region in your country. Both include updates and support.
